2 great things: our new roommate cassie moved in! and erin came to visit! asian-style veggie dogs for dinner, with cabbage slaw, shaved carrot, onion, and cucumber. inspired by asiadog hotdogs from the brooklyn flea.

moll and i headed to brighton beach the other weekend for some russian food and sunshine. the best thing we had was their version of a napoleon.

some of the best surprised me with a full on BEACH day in anticipation of my birthday. beach chairs and coolers and games included!

spent a long weekend in the DR with my dad and brother recently.

highlights include identity theft (almost), golf cart rides, tropical rain, mosquitos (lobby death zone), presidente beer, tanning under the broiler, stingrays and baracudas, boat rides, oscar de la renta dining, and having the same waiter at every restaurant. so so good.
